Travel with Confidence

The last time I travelled solo, I found myself in a situation where knowing some self-defense moves would have come in handy. It's always better to be prepared, right? That's why I decided to learn a few moves and share them with you in this video.

Don't worry, this video isn't just for solo female travelers! Anyone can benefit from knowing how to defend themselves, and I'm here to show you some easy and effective moves.

In the video, I meet up with my friend Jim, who is a 3rd degree black belt in Shotokan karate. He teaches me some basic moves that are easy to remember and can be used in a variety of situations.

We cover everything from how to get out of a grab to how to strike an attacker's weak spots. Jim emphasizes the importance of being aware of your surroundings and walking with confidence, which are great tips for staying safe while traveling.

I have to admit, I was a little intimidated at first. I thought I was going to have to remember all sorts of complicated moves, but Jim kept it simple and showed me just a few key techniques. After practicing with him, I definitely feel more confident in my ability to defend myself if I need to.
